*22.07.11 Success for Farm's Diversification*

John Brown & Sons, Hawstead, have won the Suffolk Agricultural Association's 2011 Farm Business Award for their successful diversification enterprises such as fishing, holiday rental property, soil screening and providing a wedding venue.  Income generated from their diversification has meant that the farm has been able to expand over the last 20 years to 2,000 arable acres of land.
