The Evening Star newspaper have challenged Suffolk employers to take on 100 apprentices over the next 100 days.  Ipswich Hospital are the first employer to take up the challenge and have agreed to take on 2 apprentices.  The scheme is being run in conjuction with the National Apprenticeship Service.  There are many young people ready to start work but wish to continue their education and many employers that would like to take on apprentices, this scheme hopes to match them together.
