Babergh has a population of 84,000 and is a mainly rural part of Suffolk. Landscapes in the area have been made famous by John Constable and tourists are attracted the famous picture-book villages such as Lavenham and Kersey.
Communications by road, rail and sea are excellent. London, via the A12 and M25, is only an hour or so away as is Stansted Airport. The rail service to London from Colchester is frequent and fast enough to attract communters to live in the area.
